What We’re
Learning
Writer’s Workshop: We are doing a fabulous job with our collections of
how-to books. It is so much fun writing to teach others how to do stuff!
Reader’s Workshop: We are becoming stronger readers, especially with our
extra-strength picture power. We are
also recognizing and reading high frequency words and deepening our
comprehension of texts.
FUNdations: We are continuing to blend and read three-sound words
(CVC). We are also reviewing long & short vowel sounds & learning
new high frequency words (trick words).
