Bodensieck, Emily

Hello, my name is Ms. Bodensieck!

Welcome to Room 2! We are a family full of Grandview Greatness
Just a little background about myself: I grew up in Piscataway, attending Grandview, Arbor, Schor, and graduated from PHS in 2009. I was a SuperChief and I am full of Piscataway pride! I graduated from Centenary College in 2014 with my Bachelor’s in Special Education. I am currently perusing my Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at Monmouth University. This is my fourth year teaching, and my second year in the Piscataway School District. I am also an Assistant Behavior Therapist and provide inhome ABA therapy for students with Autism, part-time. When I’m not working, I enjoy photography and spending time outside!

Your child is going to have a fun year of learning with individualized ABA programming, sensory breaks, fine and gross motor groups, arts and crafts, and more! We practice sharing, taking turns, and generalizing social skills outside of the classroom.

"A child is like a butterfly in the wind. Some can fly higher than others, but each one is flies the best it can. Why compare one against the other? Each one is different. Each one is special. Each one is beautiful."  -Anonymous
